We’ve got apps for food, travel, payments, and even finding lost socks (almost!) — tech has truly taken over our lives. But not every child gets to be part of this digital story. In many classrooms across India, the world still runs only on chalk and dusters. Until the Vedak Foundation decided to flip that script — bringing technology right into rural classrooms, turning chalkboards into smartboards, and giving children a digital edge to learn and grow. They’re helping children dream bigger, learn better, and step confidently into the future with excitement, while giving teachers the joy (and pride!) of teaching in a modern, tech-powered environment.

This Children’s Day, we’re cheering for every smart board, every digital lesson, and every little spark of curiosity, because Vedak Foundation is transforming rural education and achieving the SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education) goals.

Vedak Foundation: Where Tech Meets Teaching

Vedak Foundation is giving rural education a much-needed tech twist — turning traditional schools into smart, digital spaces, even in areas with limited internet access, so teachers can teach better and children can dream bolder. Backed by its parent company, Vedak Technologies — a leading expert network firm that connects corporations with top industry advisors — the Foundation benefits from a strong ecosystem of knowledge, experience, and purpose-driven support that strengthens its mission on the ground.

Smart Classrooms

It all started with two people who believed every classroom deserved better support. Abhishek Jaysing Shinde, Director and Founder of Vedak Foundation, and his mother, Director Bhagyashri Shinde, set out with one clear purpose — to strengthen learning environments in underserved schools. Starting in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, they built Vedak Foundation to uplift schools with limited resources through digital learning, teacher training, and strong community partnerships. Their work has already transformed two schools, with many more set to benefit in the coming months, and this is only the beginning.

And behind every milestone is a trail of grit, learning, and countless small victories. As Shruti Magdum, Project Manager at Vedak Foundation, puts it, “Honestly, everything felt like a challenge at first because we were completely new to this space. Even something as simple as registration wasn’t easy — figuring out the process, paperwork, and compliance took time and patience. We had the vision and intent, but turning that into a fully functional NGO meant learning everything from scratch.

Those early lessons became the cornerstone of everything they do today — real work, real people, and real impact.

NGO Roadmap

Vedak Foundation is transforming classrooms from the ground up — quite literally! From fresh walls and painted ceilings to cutting-edge smart panels, they’re giving schools a well-deserved glow-up. And the change is showing. Government schools are recording higher enrollments, with the first two smart classrooms in Kolhapur seeing a 30% jump in attendance.

Transforming Rural Education: Vedak Foundation x Navneet

To bring their vision of digital education to life, Vedak Foundation found the perfect partner in Navneet. As their knowledge partner, Navneet provides schools with rich digital learning content — delivered through pendrives that work seamlessly offline for classes 5 to 10. This makes all the difference in areas with limited internet access. The content includes engaging lessons, puzzles, games, videos, and even music to make learning more interactive and fun.

NGO Partner

Navneet also played a key role in setting up 75-inch interactive smart panels, transforming classrooms into vibrant learning spaces that drew more students back to school. Beyond installation, they continue to offer tech support and conduct regular bi-monthly visits to ensure everything runs smoothly — keeping both teachers and students confidently connected to the future of learning.

The Road Ahead: NGO for Hope, Health, and Education for Every Child

The story doesn’t end with digital classrooms; for Vedak Foundation, transforming rural education is just the first step toward building stronger, happier communities. Alongside bringing quality education to children, they’ve been organizing thoughtful community-development events that nurture both the mind and the heart.

CSR Initiative in school

On Children’s Day, Vedak Foundation hosted a motivational and career guidance session in a Kolhapur school, delivered by Ganesh Lolge, an exceptional speaker and core committee member & election strategist at Vijaypath Political Consultancy. His powerful talk inspired students to aim higher and helped parents understand the true impact of education.

The session wasn’t just about goals and grades, but about sparking confidence and purpose in young minds. They also arranged a free medical check-up camp with the support of local doctors, ensuring that over 600 students received essential health screenings and care.

Together for Tomorrow: Because Every Child Deserves a Chance to Shine

It’s initiatives like these that truly embody the spirit of Children’s Day — proof that when education, care, and community come together, miracles happen. Every classroom that lights up with new technology, every child who smiles with confidence, and every teacher who feels empowered to inspire — that’s the change Vedak Foundation is driving, one school at a time.
