That independent environmental assessments will finally be taken seriously. That policymakers will listen, not just to experts, but to the people who call these forests home. And maybe, just maybe, we\u2019ll start choosing restoration over destruction before it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n\n\n

Protecting forests isn\u2019t just about saving wildlife; it\u2019s about safeguarding our own future. And let\u2019s be real\u2014you\u2019re no eco-noob<\/a>. Now, the people backing deforestation might argue that they\u2019ll compensate with afforestation.
