“When the youth work together, amazing things happen.” That spirit came alive once again at Lexicon Fuel to Fly 3.0—an entrepreneurship conclave that brought together brilliant young minds and bold new ideas. For the second year in a row, Green Pistachio was invited to be part of this inspiring initiative, with one of our co-founders, Alvito Fernandes, joining the esteemed panel of judges.

The Lexicon event was a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and courage, where students from across Pune gathered to pitch their pioneering ventures. Each idea reflected not only business acumen but also a deep commitment to sustainability and social impact.

Fuel to Fly 3.0 proved once again that when sustainable innovation meets eco-conscious intention, the results are both brilliant and green.

Green Pistachio in the House: Judging with a Purpose

Fuel to Fly 3.0 bridged visionary ideas with real action. Green Pistachio brought just the right vibe to the table.

Alvito offered not just feedback, but real talk on how these ideas could work outside the classroom—whether it was scaling up, staying ethical, or creating long-term impact. Whether it was encouraging teams to explore circular models or nudging them to consider long-term community impact, his presence shaped not just the scores, but sustainable mindsets.

From offering tips to cheering on the teams, Green Pistachio’s Alvito made sure students walked away with more than just feedback—they left feeling seen, supported, and ready to take things to the next level.

Beyond the Pitch Deck: Alvito’s Reflections

Alvito Fernandes – Co-founder, Green Pistachio

Fuel to Fly 3.0 was more than just another school event — it was a powerful reminder of what the future holds when young minds are given the space to imagine, innovate, and lead.

As a judge and panelist for the second year in a row, I had the privilege of witnessing over 25 student-led teams pitch ideas that tackled real-world problems through the lenses of sustainability, technology, and inclusion. These weren’t just theoretical exercises — they were thoughtful, mission-driven solutions built with surprising clarity and intention.

What stood out most was the sheer depth of purpose behind the pitches. Students spoke about plastic pollution, mental health, accessibility, and education with an urgency and empathy that’s rare even in mature entrepreneurial spaces. Their ideas weren’t just “business” — they were blueprints for a better tomorrow.

From a Green Pistachio lens, it was deeply inspiring to see sustainability embedded not as a feature, but as a foundation. These young changemakers aren’t greenwashing — they’re green-building from the ground up.

A huge shoutout to The Lexicon International School, Wagholi, for curating such an enriching platform and to my fellow judges for bringing sharp insight and generous mentorship to the table. Most of all, hats off to the students for reminding us that courage, creativity, and conscious thinking still lead the way.

At Green Pistachio, we believe in empowering responsible consumption and conscious creation, and events like Fuel to Fly prove that the next generation is already on that path.

Here’s to more voices, more ideas, and more action. Because the future isn’t waiting — it’s already being built.

Lexicon Fuel to Fly 3.0: Event Vibes

After the absolute slay that was Fuel to Fly 2.0—where students turned cardboard into chic tableware and eco-ideas practically levitated off the stage—expectations for this year were sky-high. Spoiler alert: Fuel to Fly 3.0 totally delivered.

Hosted by The Lexicon International School, Wagholi, this year’s conclave brought together 24 student teams from across Pune, all set to pitch their next-big-thing business ideas. Think Shark Tank, but with more heart, more hope, more Gen Z genius, and a whole lot of sustainability swag and eco-friendly innovation.

The energy? Absolutely electric.

The ideas? Bold. Sustainable. Future-ready.

The vibe? Brainy meets visionary.

Lexicon Fuel to Fly 3.0: Highlights & Takeaways

This year’s edition of Fuel to Fly wasn’t just a competition—it was a launchpad for ideas with heart, hustle, and impact. Students pitched across three powerful themes: sustainability, tech innovation, and diversity & inclusion. With a fair and bias-free setup (student details were hidden from judges), every pitch stood on merit.

The jury panel featured industry experts Amit Kothari, Romal Surana, Shankar Mridha, and Sanjay Navayath, joined by Alvito Fernandes, Co-founder of Green Pistachio, who guided students with thoughtful feedback, encouraged greener thinking, and helped shape their ideas into real-world solutions.

According to Tonmoy Haldar, who has been part of the journey since Day One, Fuel to Fly started as a student-led idea and is now scaling up like a true startup—moving from 15 teams in its first year to 25+ and counting. The next step? Incubation support, industry mentorship, and maybe even investor connections. Because these ideas aren’t just class projects—they’re prototypes for the future.

Events like this show that when students dream big and platforms like Green Pistachio cheer them on, impact becomes inevitable. This isn’t just pitching—it’s planet-building in progress.

Education Beyond Textbooks

It’s not every day you see teens pitch with purpose—and heart. Events like Lexicon Fuel to Fly 3.0 show how schools can be spaces for real change, not just learning, and how they can raise changemakers, not just students.
